Branch Manager, Stockbury

Currently the third generation of the Burden Family farming in Kent. We are looking for an experienced Branch Manager to provide leadership in evaluating, allocating, and managing human, physical and financial resources for the branch. You will be responsible for optimising the financial performance of the branch, the personal development of employees and the delivery of the BBA customer care experience.


Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for:

  • Instil the BBA core values, principles, vision and mission within the branch location.
  • Deliver branch financial performance goals and KPIs.
  • Develop and maintain a positive relationship with all existing and new customers and resolve any critical customer issues.
  • Spend one day per month visiting customers.
  • Ensure the sales team at the branch are driving their sales pipeline, filling their sales funnel and closing deals efficiently and in a timely manner.
  • Ensure that appropriate communication is taking place within and across all departments at the branch location, which will include leading effective Monday morning operational meetings.
  • Support Group Managers in implementing overall policies, processes and changes in any department within the location.
  • Ensure the successful execution of marketing events within the branch AOR.
  • Manage any overdue debtor issues relating to the branch AOR.
  • Ensure a professional appearance of the branch location at all times.
  • Oversee maintenance, security and general housekeeping of the branch location.
  • Provide input to the hiring, development, coaching, evaluation and effectiveness of branch employees.
  • Conduct daily branch walk-around
